Who wants to see a new ship illustration?
... I thought so!
Here's the Deep Space 909, 3d version by Holly Jencka, it's a beaut...
And hey, if you want a BIG OLE VERSION of this as your desktop background, here ya go!
Get your vote on!
Damn y'all love some democracy, over 500 of you have voted for the ships that should go in the art print set.
Some front runners have emerged, so make sure to get your vote in!
Given the enthusiasm for (and debate about!) the ships included, we are considering offering a second print set (with some runner-up ships) as an add-on.
Let us know in the comments if you'd be interested in that!
STEALTH MODE
We have just 48 hours left in our Pintopia campaign, and have added Stealth Mode variants of some of the pins.
Two final reminders about the pin campaign...
As a backer of Infinity of Ships, you get two free pins if you pledge to the pin campaign.
Also, if shipping is a concern, you will have the option to combine your shipping to get your original pledge and your pins in the same shipment.
The pin campaign station warps out of the quadrant in less than 48 hours, so check it out before it's gone!

I'll keep this post short, voyagers, since it's spacetime-sensitive.
Our Infinity of Pins enamel pin campaign is off to a great start (over 600% funded, all designs unlocked!).
Our early bird reward (one free pin of your choice!) expires in about 24 hours.
So if you're interested, now is a great time to back the campaign.
And just a reminder that as a backer of Infinity of Ships, you'll also get two free pins with any pledge!
Thanks again for your ongoing support!
xoxo

Greetings shipmates,
We are continuing our journey through the stars, here are some updates!
An Infinity of Pins!
Backerkit invited us to participate in Pintopia 2, a collection of campaigns to create enamel pins.
Given how beautiful Rob's ships are, we jumped at the opportunity, partnering with an established pin designer (Liz from Snarky Company) to translate a bunch of our ships into beautiful enamel pins. We are super excited to announce An Infinity of Pins!
Here's a translation preview, of the everywhere always, our hyperpop-inspired ship.
The illustration:
The beautiful, silver-plated, UV-printed 3" pin:
We are SUPER EXCITED by how amazing the ships are turning out, and can't wait to show you more!
The campaign will feature over 10 ships translated into pins, including Welcome to the Future, a trans ally ship; all proceeds from purchases of this pin will go to support the vital work of Trans Lifeline.
If you're interested, please follow the project before it launches on March 28th.
All early backers get a free pin, and as a way of saying THANK YOU for helping us get to this point, all previous backers of our Kickstarter get a free Make It Infinity pin with their pledge.
Thanks for helping us get to the stars!
PROGRESS and PLAYTESTS!
Copy editing and layout work continues, as we tweak and refine and mess around with utterly new forms of xyz-matter.
At Gameface Con in Baltimore, MD, Jamie ran some ship-building sessions to test out the ship "character sheet" and the ship-building process.
Here are some of the ships that people came up with!
Also, damn I love Baltimore and its graffiti...
Back to SPACE, here's some new ships coming out of from Rob's ENGINEERING LAB:
As to what's happening INSIDE some of these ships, here's the illustration for the Cat's Cradle astronav / piloting system illustrated by Shaun Beyond:
MUSIC!
Aeon Cub is wrapping up the soundtrack, an imagination of the music playing aboard the Deep Space 909 experimental creation vessel.
We've added one of our favorite tracks, called "Quarters and Critters", to the Digital Pack in our Shopify store. You should be receiving an email with access to it shortly (check your spam box for emails from [email protected]).
And here's what Aeon Cub had to say about the track:
Quarters & Critters was inspired by STATIONS' Quantum Genre Generator (like many of the pieces on the album). The style that came up was "Doom Disney" (fuck yes! I had just started the project and felt I already won at slots). It ended up like a bit of a slow theme that could play during a top-down action rpg game like Death's Door or Tunic (but also on an abandoned DS909 station in the far far far future perhaps?). For this one I tried to hold back and show some restraint compositionally, even though it shifts tones a few times.
We can't wait to get you the full album, which includes one of my new favorite space soundtrack song titles: "Obligatory Space Opera Marching Band Song."
Until soon!
Adam out.
